Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ:
First of all, let me take the opportunity to say, Thank You! Go everyone who made our Christmas celebration such a success, especially our liturgy committee, choirs and there directors, liturgical ministers, those who came to prepare the church, and anyone I may have forgotten. I am very pleased with the crowds and participation. The ushers informed me that the Christmas Mass had a crowd of 375 people – WOW!
Secondly, to everyone who thought of me with cards and gifts – again, Thanks You! It was nice to have so many of our parishioners remember their pastor, especially with prayer.
Thirdly, Thank You again to the parish in general. This year in particular I noticed how many of you returned to celebrate each Feast and Holy Day. As Pastor, it made me proud that you take your faith so seriously. As a Catholic people, it is a blessing to have the Holy Seasons and Feast to enhance our worship. You definitely made your presence known and celebrated each one with praise and gratitude.
And lastly, we Thank God! As a Parish Community we are blessed to have so many gifted talented people who are so willing to give those gifts and talents for the good of our parish. For myself I thought the most beautiful part of our celebration was the Children’s Pageant on Christmas Eve. It was food to see and hear the children of the parish tell the story of our Savior’s Birth. The children and their parents will treasure these memories. A special recognition to Ms. Betty and Ms. Norma, along with the numerous parents who brought their children faithfully to take part. God Bless and Well Done!!
