Every student must wear the complete uniform at all times. Parents will be called to pick up students who are not in the correct uniform or requested to bring the necessary items to ensure compliance. The school uniform companies maintain the complete list of uniform requirements for boys and girls. School uniform sweater or sweatshirt, tan suede bucks, and belts are required. Over-sized clothing or pants worn below the normal waist are not permitted. Hoodies and other non uniform jackets may not be worn in the school building. Summer and winter gym uniforms can be purchased at the uniform companies. Boys in grades K – 2 may wear the long sleeved polo shirts in the winter months. Please note, tennis shoes are only worn with the gym uniform and the summer school uniform. Traditional shoes must be worn with the regular school uniform. Students must wear the complete gym uniform to school on their gym day. Gym pants may not be cut into stirrups and worn beneath the shoe. They are not to be torn and tattered.

HAIR STYLES AND GROOMING

Hairstyles must conform to acceptable standards of good grooming. Boys may not wear their hair plaited, braided or twisted. It must be cut so that it is no more than one inch from the scalp. Designs may not be cut in the hair. Girls are not to wear excessive baubles in the hair or styles so high that they distract others. Hair may not be dyed in non-traditional colors. Faddish hairstyles are not permitted.

Girls may wear one pair of small post earrings. No hoops or dangles of any size are ever permitted. Multiple piercing of the ears or piercing of any other part of the body is not permitted. Jewelry is not to be worn to school. Tattoos or other defacements of the body are prohibited. Boys are not permitted to wear earrings.

The principal reserves the right to restrict these and other items not listed above in school or at school sponsored functions in order to maintain discipline and the appropriate appearance of our students.

PLEASE FAMILIARIZE YOURSELF WITH THE UNIFORM POLICY. IT WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED. PARENTS WILL BE CALLED AND ASKED TO PICK UP STUDENTS WHO ARE NOT IN THE COMPLETE CORRECT UNIFORM, OR TO BRING THE NECESSARY ITEMS TO ENSURE COMPLIANCE.
