SCHOOL UNIFORMS

Every student must wear the complete uniform at all times. A written note from a parent or guardian is required to excuse a child in an emergency. Otherwise, the parent will be called to bring the appropriate clothing or to take the student home. The school uniform companies maintain the complete list of uniform requirements for boys and girls. School uniform sweater or sweatshirt, leather tie shoes with flat soles and heels (no boots), ties, and belts are required. Over-sized clothing or pants worn below the normal waist are not permitted. Summer and whiter gym uniforms can be purchased at the uniform companies. Boys in grades K — 2 may wear the long sleeved polo shirts in the winter months. Please note, tennis shoes are only worn with the gym uniform and the summer school uniform. Traditional shoes must be worn with the regular school uniform. Non-uniform shirts, sweaters, sweatshirts, shoes, etc. will result in the student receiving a demerit. Four demerits result in a detention. Students must wear the complete gym uniform to school on their gym day.

Middle School - Grades 6-8

Gym Uniform (Boys & Girls)
Must be worn to school on the student’s gym day

Warm Weather Uniform – Boys & Girls (Optional)

To be worn at parent’s discretion during the months of August, September, October, April, May, and June.

Light blue monogrammed polo shirt

Navy blue Walking Shorts or skorts for girls

Tennis shoes

White socks

In cold weather, boys and girls may wear navy or white turtlenecks under their shirts.

*Timberland style or other boot-like shoes are NOT PERMITTED.

Please refer to the Parent/Student Handbook for guidelines on appropriate hairstyles and grooming for all school days and school-sponsored events. Boys are not allowed to wear braids or earrings. Girls may wear one pair of small post earrings. No hoops or dangles of any size are permitted.
