TUITION AND FEES

New Student Fees:

Tuition for the 2009-10 school year is $4,700.00. All tuition will be billed through SMART Tuition Management. A non-refundable deposit of $150.00 is due at the time of registration.  All fees must be paid in full by July 1, 2008.

You may participate in the fundraising projects or pay the fee. This may be paid as a part of your monthly tuition payment.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

Tuition assistance is available through St. Ambrose Catholic Church, The Lawrence Cardinal Shehan Scholarship Fund, The Cardinal's Lenten Appeal, Partner's in Excellence program, and the Children's Scholarship Fund. Application must be made at the time of registration. Verification of income, proof of custody and marital status are required. Failure to meet all financial obligations in a timely manner will result in the immediate loss of all tuition assistance.
It should be noted that book fees are reduced by $90.00 because of our participation in the Nonpublic Student Textbook Program sponsored by the Maryland State Department of Education.

SMART

Tuition is payable on a ten month basis, August - May, through SMART Tuition Management Services. Enrollment forms are completed at the time of registration. You may have your payment automatically deducted from your checking account. Payment may also be made by check, money order, bank-by phone, or your bank's on-line payment system. A payment booklet method allows you to pay your tuition the way you normally pay your monthly bills. No tuition is collected in the front office.
(If payment is received in the business office, a $25.00 administrative fee will be attached. Personal checks are not accepted by St. Ambrose Catholic School)
A family with outstanding financial obligations to the current school may not be accepted at another Catholic school in the Archdiocese of Baltimore. Additionally, if a student transfers without having fulfilled all financial obligations, the school is only required to release health records and grade level to the new school.

REFUNDS

Parents sometimes register for the incoming school year and change their minds prior to the opening of school. In these situations, a refund of fees paid to that date with the exception of the initial registration fee will be issued. No refund will be issued once the school year has begun.
